IBS Accreditation Process

Stage 1

Application & Eligibility Review

Schools submit:

Following document review, IBS confirms eligibility for inspection.

Stage 2

Self-Evaluation Report

The school completes a structured Self-Evaluation based on IBS Standards covering:

• Leadership & Governance

• Teaching & Learning

• Student Welfare & Safeguarding

• Academic Outcomes

• Digital Learning (if applicable)

• Operational Compliance

Stage 3

Independent Inspection

An IBS inspection team conducts a 2–3 day review (on-site or online:

• Lesson observations

• Leadership interviews

• Student voice meetings

• Parent feedback

• Policy verification

• Safeguarding audit

For online schools, the inspection additionally reviews:

• LMS systems

• Live lesson delivery

• Attendance monitoring

• Online safeguarding
